Amazing drone footage of the Medieval City of Rhodes

Rhodes based cinematographer Stavros Ladikos has compiled a collection of breathtaking aerial videos, shot with a drone, which show Rhodes from the birds eye perspective.

The second part of this video footage series is about the Medieval Town of Rhodes. Having been declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1988, the "Old" City of Rhodes is still part of everyday life for the locals, as well as a major attraction for the visitors. According to the UNESCO site, the Upper Town, with its Palace of the Grand Masters, the Great Hospital and the Street of the Knights, is one of the most beautiful urban ensembles of the Gothic period, while in the Lower Town, Gothic architecture coexists with mosques, public baths and other buildings dating from the Ottoman period. The cinematic touch in Stavros videos, along with the atmospheric soundtrack do their best in letting the viewer travel back to that time.
